Still red wine
The harvest takes place after careful selection of the grapes.
Following crush-destemming, the must is fermented
on the skins in temperature-controlled vats for 10-12 days, with repeated pumping over.
Following the alcoholic fermentation the wine is racked.
Ruby red in colour with nuances of plum, it has an intense aroma with hints of red currants, blackcurrants and pleasing spicy notes. On the palate it is full-bodied and rounded with pleasing tannins.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13,5% vol.
It combines well with numerous dishes: in particular charcuteries, meat-based pasta dishes like agnolotti, braised and roast meats and game.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16°-18°C
STORAGE: In a cool and dry place for 18 months.
